Windows 10 - A step in the right direction, but still not perfect

Although Windows 10 has been around for a few months now and is already proving to be a better Operating System than Windows 8 and 8.1 it does appear there can be problems after upgrading.

Just this week gone I had a phone call from a client who advised they had upgraded to Windows 10, as a result of the popup on Windows 7. As a result the Windows mail application continually produced an error everytime the client tried to either open a new mail message, or reply to one. Due to hassles from setting up the email previously they were reluctant to try removing and re-adding the email account.

Fortunately there was a simpler solution. After following the upgrade process to Windows 10 there is a 30 day period where you can roleback to the previous version. This is an important feature in Windows 10 as it shows that Microsoft recognises that there may be incompatibility issues and that it is only through thorough testing can a business determine if it is viable to upgrade to Windows 10.
